If there is no working key left, we can identify the vehicle security system, establish the correct replacement key and program it using the appropriate diagnostic, manufacturer or module-level procedure. Proof of identity and lawful ownership will be required where applicable.
What Happens to the Lost or Stolen Keys?
Where the vehicle and programming procedure support it, previously registered keys can be removed or disabled from the active key list so a missing key is no longer authorised to start the vehicle.
Newer Vehicles May Need Manufacturer Security Access
Current vehicles increasingly protect immobiliser functions behind secure manufacturer systems. SERMI approval and manufacturer-specific authorisation may be required for legitimate access to security-related functions.
